LANGLOW WOOD PRESERVATIVES are HSE approved, white spirit based solutions of the anti-fungal active ingredients Propiconazole and IPBC Polyphase.The white spirit carrier solvent enables this active to achieve deep penetration into most common sizes of structural timber, allowing the active ingredient to remain stable, effective and give long-term anti-fungal protection. LANGLOW WOOD PRESERVATIVES prevent the damage caused to timbers by “Serpula Lacrymanns”, the dry rot fungus or “Coniophora Puteana”, the wet rot version, both of which can be found in any timbers (interior / exterior) where there has been prolonged exposure to excessive moisture levels in a poorly ventilated environment.
These active ingredients will also protect against the blue stain fungus which affects the surface appearance of external timbers.
